Prom Coast Centre for Children Inc. is a proud provider of the Victorian Government’s Free Kinder initiative.

This means you will receive a free Three-or Four-Year-Old Kindergarten program of 15 hours.

Free Kinder helps all Victorian children access 2 years of a high-quality kindergarten program before they start school. Enrolling your child in a kindergarten program for 2 years can help develop their skills so they do well in life and school.

Free Kinder is for everyone. You do not need to be an Australian citizen to receive Free Kinder.

At all our services, we offer 15 hours of mixed aged 3 & 4 Year Old Kindergarten. Research from across the globe shows that two years of quality kindergarten programs improves a child’s learning outcomes. Children who attend two years of kindergarten also show higher levels of emotional intelligence and wellbeing into their school years and beyond.

Registrations for kindergarten are managed through the South Gippsland Shire Central Registration at the year prior. ​
